A Day in the Life of a Forestry Student

Today turned out to be an excellent day for agriculture and natural resource students. No we didnt get free carharts. We didn't have a beautiful sunny day. Their wasn't even a kegger. But we had a day long vacation. Some blessed construction worker hit a water line which flooded a main electrical breaker on campus. Half the campus was closed down for the entire day. Our side of campus. Of course this was the day I have two classes on the artsy side of campus (no i didnt draw or paint anything), so I still had to stay on campus. But I spent the morning at Starbucks drinking coffee and chiseling away at this enormous block of homework. Funny my car is still weighed down. I also went to the library (a once a semester occurrence..not because I don't like to but because I always come out of their with two armloads of book that I never planned to get and rarely get a chance to read). I even worked out in the gym and slept for the first time this semester (OK..OK that phrase belongs after"in the gym"). So all in all it has been a good day. But because I did not have access to a computer all day I now have to write a report up that is due tomorrow and then begin a paper that is due friday. Oh and for those that are interested, yesterday in my classes I learned that if you plant more trees you will make more money and that if you use> fertilizer you will have bigger trees (meaning more money). Man, what would I do without this college!
